Brendon Massei, pseudonym Viking Moses, has toured with the likes of Will Oldham, Cat Power, Devendra Banhart, and Little Wings, and I'll be damned if he didn't adopt all their best habits. I won't bother explaining that. Just listen and find out.

There are songs you like, and songs you love, and songs that take up residence in your car and head and hands for eternity. The latter dictates what you do and how you do it: perform to this rhythm, think to this melody. "Vietnam Malaria Nostalgia" is that kind of song. I'm still getting used to the other two; they're currently teetering between like and love.
